I captured this quiet space using my infrared camera at the Margaret Grigg Nanjing Friendship Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, Missouri. This garden was designed by Yong Pan and is modeled on the smaller "scholars" gardens in the Nanjing Provence. The garden features the subtle elegance of the Chinese pavilion surrounded by carefully selected traditional plants that have spiritual significance. Bring a little quiet and peace into your hurried life with this calming landscape. Better yet, give it to a friend!
