Description
I captured this prison cell image at the Missouri State Penitentiary located in Jefferson City, Missouri. This prison opened in 1836 and closed in 2004 and is the oldest continually operated prison west of the Mississippi. Sonny Liston learned to box in this prison. James Earl Ray escaped and went on to murder Martin Luther King.

Jane, Fantastic photo love the coldness that the photo gives off showing the emptiness of being locked up in a prison cell and a great story line given in the description box. Excellent details depicted in this photo also. Excellent photo, voted, google and tweet promoted
