I stumbled upon these stunning cypress trees at the Cache River Nature preserve in Southern Illinois of all places. These 1,000 year old cypress trees are in the Shawnee National Forest. Bring a bit of nature's wonder into your home with a framed photos of this gorgeous natural landscape.
My current passion is an alternative photographic process called Polaroid transfers. Each transfer is hand-made by the photographer using specific materials and equipment to achieve a desired effect. A transparency is projected on to professional Polaroid print film and as development begins, the print and chemicals are prematurely separated. The image is transferred on to dampened watercolor paper for a unique image which has a dated, artistic photo-painting appearance. Exposure, pressure, time, paper and other variables make each print an original mono-print. I don't know how these trees live under all this water with out drowning I have never seen anything like it before even the trees look dead from waist down & alive from the waist up WOW as we can see with the Moss that the trees don't get much sun light either you have some very interesting shots here for sure this is one of your Unique ones Great Find Jane OH I just thought of an interesting find I saw few years ago I will tell you later
